Deuteronomy 28 29
And thou shalt grope at noonday, as the blind gropeth in darkness, and thou shalt not prosper in thy ways: and thou shalt be only oppressed and spoiled evermore, and no man shall save thee.
Then the LORD said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand toward heaven, so that darkness will spread over the land of Egypt–a palpable darkness.” They wandered blind in the streets, defiled by this blood, so that no one dared to touch their garments.
Like the blind, we feel our way along the wall, groping like those without eyes. We stumble at midday as in the twilight; among the vigorous we are like the dead.
I will bring such distress on mankind that they will walk like the blind, because they have sinned against the LORD. Their blood will be poured out like dust and their flesh like dung.
