Deuteronomy 28 32
Verse Thirty-Two:
Thy sons and thy daughters shall be given unto another people, and thine eyes shall look, and fail with longing for them all the day long; and there shall be no might in thine hand.
The LORD is righteous, for I have rebelled against His command. Listen, all you people; look upon my suffering. My young men and maidens have gone into captivity
If you fear the LORD and serve Him and obey His voice, and if you do not rebel against the command of the LORD, and if both you and the king who rules over you follow the LORD your God, then all will be well. But if you disobey the LORD and rebel against His command, then the hand of the LORD will be against you as it was against your fathers.
We have acted wickedly and rebelled. We have turned away from Your commandments and ordinances. We have behaved corruptly against You and have not kept the commandments, statutes, and ordinances that You gave Your servant Moses. You are just in all that has befallen us, because You have acted faithfully, while we have acted wickedly.
